Album artwork concept and design for Gilad Millo's Shambani project, rooted in his music and agricultural story in Kenya.

Gilad Millo, famously known as Gilad, is a highly celebrated Israeli-Kenyan singer-songwriter, media personality, and commercial garlic farmer based in Nairobi. Best known for soulful, Swahili-fused love songs like "Unajua" and "Sema Milele", he was officially granted Kenyan citizenship in 2021 after more than two decades in the country. Shambani sits at the centre of his musical and entrepreneurial journey, shaping his brand and his work empowering Kenyan farmers through agriculture. We partnered with Gilad on the album artwork for Shambani, developing the visual concept and design from the ground up. Our role covered creative direction and finished artwork only, not music production or video direction. The visuals needed to honour that dual identity, the artist behind hits like "Tunafaana" featuring Sanaipei Tande and scenic countryside releases, and the farmer building something lasting for communities across Kenya. From cover art to supporting pieces, every layout was designed to feel rooted, soulful, and unmistakably Gilad.
