# Enablement-to-money link map

List your money pages and your most-read guides, templates, and case studies. Map each asset to one next step, one anchor, and one placement.

Start with your five most-read assets and your two or three money pages. Do not map the whole archive in one sitting.
One asset, one primary commercial pointer. If two money pages both fit, the asset covers two topics or the money pages overlap. Decide before you add the link.
Every asset gets a row, even when the decision is “no commercial link.”

*Readers move from learning to deciding and back to proof. Each arrow is a real <a href>.*

## Money pages

The few URLs whose job is a commercial next step. Record one job and one reader for each.

| URL | The one job it does | Reader it is for | Inbound links today |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |

## Link map (one row per asset)

| Asset URL | Type | Reader stage | Money page | Anchor text | Placement | Link back from money page? |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | |
| | | | | | | |

## Default pairings

| Asset type | Best next step |
| --- | --- |
| How-to guide | The service page for that work |
| Checklist or template | The guide that explains it, then the service page |
| Case study or teardown | The service page, then contact |
| Comparison or decision guide | Scope page or contact |
| Measurement or audit guide | The service page that does the fix |

## Anchor text check

- [ ] Read the anchor out of context. It still says what the reader will find
- [ ] No “click here,” “read more,” or “learn more” as the whole anchor
- [ ] No stacked keywords or city names the reader does not need
- [ ] Wording varies across pages and fits its sentence
- [ ] No links chained next to each other without context
- [ ] One to three service pointers per article. Quiet, not banners

## Verify the links are real

- [ ] Destination appears as <a href> in raw HTML (curl or View Source), not only in script
- [ ] Target returns a normal page, not an error or a redirect chain
- [ ] On JavaScript sites: Search Console URL Inspection shows the anchor text in rendered HTML
- [ ] Target is indexable and listed in the submitted sitemap
- [ ] Every link clicked on the live page

## Maintain

- [ ] Orphan check: every asset has an inbound link from a related page
- [ ] If a money page is renamed, update the source links, not just the redirect
- [ ] Quarterly: re-click links on the five most-read assets
